In 2021, HayMax acquired a historic Victorian home located on a 7,500 square foot lot on Main Street in Aspen, Colorado. Aspen Historic Preservation Commission and the City of Aspen granted approvals for a 100% affordable housing development. HayMax worked collaboratively with the City of Aspen on design of the new buildings to ensure the historic building is honored. The project consists of 10 two- and three-bedroom units. This affordable housing development will be amongst the most proximate to Aspen’s downtown core, trails & open space, and a multitude of public transit options.
