Chalet Alpina

Chalet Alpina is a ski-in/ ski-out resort located at the original Lift One base on Aspen Mountain. The mixed-use development includes 32 residences, spa & wellness facilities, multiple restaurants, a new telemix lift (chairs and gondola), private parking, and the refurbishment of the two historic Skiers Chalet buildings. The land was acquired in 2015, and new entitlements were procured through a process that culminated in a successful municipal election that granted new approvals.
This new base area comprises a great deal of community-focused features, all accessible via new transit and bike lanes. Aspen Historical Society will operate a new Aspen Ski History Museum. Aspen Skiing Company will open new ticketing, services, and patrol spaces. The garage includes public parking, ski lockers, and bike storage. All of this is centered around two-acres of public park space which includes the beautiful, newly opened Dolinsek Gardens.
